The sound of thundering hooves across the stands, the cheering of the crowds, Tony revelled in the excitement of the races. His heart was pounding as they thundered down the race course, mud flew across the track and the stench from the horses wafted over to the stands.
“Great race wasn’t it?” Tony looked to his right, standing next to him was a dark haired woman puffing on a cigarette. He looked around expecting to see someone else nearby but realised she was talking to him after catching her eye.

Henry shielded his eyes from the lashing rain as it beat down upon him, his hand was stinging and numb from the cold onslaught, desperately he tried to keep his footing on the slippery cobblestones that lead down a steep road. Crowds of people were making their way to shelter as he battled through the elements, he was due to meet with his business partner Jason and was determined to make it no matter what the weather was like.

Light headed he made his way down the road towards his father's business, he was late again but he didn't care, it was starting to become a common habit of his. He strained his eyes against the bright sunlight, his head and ears were still pounding and the noises and bustle of the city were making things worse.
"You look bloody terrible." He turned to see Philip, one of his cow
Benjamin had just finished unloading the last of the crates, he hated doing manual work, his back was aching and his hands were blistered.
"Ouch!" He recoiled after trapping one of his fingers, kicking the crate in frustration he sat down. ‘This will show her.’ He thought to himself. Business had not been going well since Jasmine opened her shop down the road, but this time he was sure he could boost his sales.
As the days passed he counted his profits, things were not looking good, he had barely shifted any of his new stock and he found himself becoming frustrated. Locking up the store he headed out the door, a slight b
